Peter De PRINS

Professor of
Management Practice
at Vlerick Business School

He is recognised as a dynamic and interactive teacher. He focuses on the practical use of theoretical and academic models making use of group-participation and collaborative learning. He is also a sought after speaker on motivation, leadership, coaching and management. As an entrepreneur Peter has travelled the world and worked with a wide range of nationalities.

He has hands-on experience of people-management, executive coaching and leadership mainly in Europe and the USA. His research focuses on the behavioural aspects of business coaches (he co-developed the Business Coach Behavioural Index) and the coaching aspects of leadership.

Katleen De Stobbeleir

Professor in Human Resources
Management & Leadership
at Vlerick Business School

She teaches leadership, professional management skills and feedback skills in the open enrolment and customised programmes at Vlerick. Her audiences range from Masters students, junior managers and middle managers to HR professionals, engineersand medical doctors.

She is also involved in the Research Centre on Coaching, a centre that develops tools and conducts applied research on leadership trends and coaching. One of the instruments developed in the centre isa 360° Feedback Instrument. Her research has been published in several international journals and books and she is also one of the few Belgians who was able to publish her work in the renowned Academy of Management Journal. Furthermore, she is an executive coach and a certified consultant in Investors in People and Great Place to Work.

Kurt Verweire

Strategy Professor and Partner
at Vlerick Business School

He obtained his PhD at Erasmus University Rotterdam in 1999. He is also Programme Director of the MBA-FSI programme, a general management programme that is entirely focused on the financial services industry. His research interests include formulating and implementing winning business strategies, performance management and change management, and corporate strategy. Current research projects address how firms have to position themselves in the market, and how to create alignment and commitment within the organisation. Many of his research projects deal with financial services organisations.

Kurt is an enthusiastic Strategy Professor who knows how to translate theoretical concepts into practically relevant insights. One of his major strengths is thathe works together with many companies and is close to business practice.
